This site is the home of our long-running Killing Floor server community. We focus on gameplay that still feels like classic KF, but stays fresh through new modes, progression systems, and server-side features built over many years.

    Who this project is for

Our community is built for players who:

    • prefer well-established servers with a long history over random internet servers
    • like a stable place to return to (shared progression, familiar people)
    • want variety (modes, map rotation, events) without losing the classic KF identity

    What this project is

    • Community-run Killing Floor servers (multiple modes and difficulties).
    • Shared perk progression across the network.
    • A knowledge base (wiki/FAQ) for old KF client issues and server features.
    • A real player community (not just a “server list” page).

    What makes KillingFloor.net different

    We aim for a balance:

    • classic KF feel (co-op first)
    • variety when you want it (multiple modes)
    • long-term progression without forcing grind
    • fixes and knowledge for old KF problems (cache, downloads, client quirks)

    What to do first

If you are new: simple path

    1. Open the server list and pick one server:
    2. Join once and let downloads finish.
    3. If you see mismatch errors, clear cache:
    4. If you want smoother loading long-term:

A bit of history (why people still remember the name)

We launched our first Killing Floor server back in 2015, and the project grew fast. Over the years we built unique gameplay mechanics that are still uncommon across most servers.

That is also why old names and abbreviations still show up in search results. Many players remember a server by the first community they played on, not by the current domain.

    Common questions

Do I need Premium to play?

No. Premium is optional support. You can join and play normally without it.

Why does the server download files on first join?

Community servers often use custom maps and packages. First join downloads are normal. If it errors out, use:
