Key Features

Gameplay

Killing Floor gameplay is based on team interaction. Players appear in a certain area (the action mainly takes place in Great Britain). Players on the map are waiting for mutants that players will have to kill. Players have different weapons, from pistols and melee weapons to grenades and explosives. Players must interact with each other as efficiently as possible, as waves of enemies will attack the players, and use special game strategies appropriate to the situation, such as barricading doors or finding high places.

The goal of the game is to survive as long as possible against prolonged waves of enemies. The number of enemies depends on the number of players currently playing. The number of opponents that must be killed before the round ends is shown on the HUD display. When a certain number of opponents are killed, the wave will end, and soon the next one will begin — with stronger opponents.

The game has 5 difficulty levels: Hard is considered normal, Easy and Medium are easier, Suicidal and Hell on Earth are the most difficult. To fight increasingly stronger opponents, players must use the upgrade system, which allows developing the hero’s skills and gaining access to more powerful weapons and abilities.
