    Weapons

Our servers stay close to the classic Killing Floor arsenal, but with a number of balance changes, reworked weapons, unlocked content and fair-play fixes. Here are the differences you’ll notice.

All DLC and event weapons unlocked

Every player can buy all the DLC, golden, camo, neon and event weapons in the trader — no purchases or unlocks required. They’re available to everyone for free.

    Ammo and magazines

    • You carry a little more reserve ammo than in the original game (roughly +10% for most weapons). A few weapons are tuned individually — for example the auto-shotguns carry a bit more, and one medic SMG carries slightly less.
    • Several reworked weapons have much larger magazines (for example the Patriarch’s chaingun holds 200 rounds).

    Reworked weapons

Some weapons work very differently here than in the original game:

    • Golden M79 — turned into a Medic weapon. Instead of an explosive, it lobs a healing grenade that leaves a green cloud, healing nearby teammates over a few seconds (the heal grows with your Medic level).
    • M7A3M and Camo Shotgun — also Medic weapons that fire healing darts at teammates.
    • M4 / Camo M4 — reworked into a single-shot, crossbow-like rifle for Sharpshooters.
    • Golden AK47 — fires energy bolts (a Firebug weapon).
    • ZED Gun — fires a bouncing energy ball that ricochets off surfaces.
    • ZED MKII and Camo M32 — turned into fire weapons (Firebug).
    • Seal Squeal — its harpoons explode on impact instead of sticking first.
    • Dwarf Axe — its heavy swing now lunges you forward.
    • All pistols are Gunslinger weapons and are sold together under the Gunslinger tab.

    Explosives

    • Pipe bombs are limited to 12 per player. Placing another one past the limit detonates your oldest pipe bomb. Your pipe bombs also blow up automatically if you die.
    • Thrown grenades hit harder than in the original game.
    • The L.A.W. and Husk gun properly hit players on PvP servers (no more shots passing through them).

    Fair-play and quality of life

    • Cancel a reload at any time by switching weapons or throwing a grenade.
    • A grenade warning icon appears over live grenades near you.
    • Buying a pair of dual pistols now loads a full magazine (instead of half).
    • Various anti-cheat fixes close old exploits (infinite grenades, pipe-bomb tricks and more).

    On PvP servers

On player-vs-player servers (Deathmatch, Last Hero, Gun Game Solo, Battle Royale Solo), weapons are tuned for fair duels:

    • Pinpoint accuracy — bullet weapons fire exactly at your crosshair (no spread), and shotguns are tightened up.
    • Some weapons are rebalanced for PvP (for example a slower-firing Magnum and a shorter L.A.W. arming distance).
    • Knife Arena Solo uses katana-only combat with boosted headshots; Paintball replaces guns with colorful, non-lethal paintball weapons.
