Husk

Husk can hit you from almost any distance — find cover from its incendiary projectiles.

Description

Husk is the only specimen besides the Patriarch that can attack players from long range. It fires incendiary charges.

Interesting

If you’re lucky, jumping at the right time can launch you high into the air from the blast of a Husk projectile.

Behavior

• Attacks from a distance using its weapon that fires incendiary charges
• Moves relatively slowly
• Almost immune to fire damage
• If you get close, it attacks with its hand
• Its projectile can instantly kill a player on a direct hit (very rare)

Combat tactics

Husk is not easy to kill. It is most dangerous at long distances because it shoots far and accurately. The simplest way to kill it is with a Crossbow. Up close, use a shotgun or other close-range weapon.

If you jump while Husk is charging its weapon, you may avoid being hit.
