Bonus Points (BP) in Killing Floor
On our servers you’ll often see people mention BP (Bonus Points). It’s a simple idea: reward players for showing up, playing as a team, and completing small goals — not only for raw damage or boss kills.
What BP is (in plain words)
- BP is an in-game currency on our servers.
- You earn it by doing things that help the team and by completing daily tasks.
- You can then use BP for different server-side actions and items (the exact options may differ by server/mode).

BP vs money (do not mix them up)
Killing Floor has match money and weapon economy. BP is different:
- money is match-to-match and depends on what happens in one run
- BP is a network progression layer that rewards consistency over time
Think of BP as “long-term rewards”, not as a replacement for normal KF economy.
Why BP exists (and why many servers do not need it)
Classic KF already has money, perks, and player skill. BP exists for a different reason: it creates a “server long-term loop” that does not rely on grinding the same map.
On our servers BP helps with:
- rewarding consistent play (not just one good match)
- giving smaller goals for casual sessions
- encouraging team-friendly actions (healing, support plays, objectives)
How to earn BP
The most reliable way:
- Complete daily tasks — they are designed to be “normal gameplay”, not weird grinding.
Other sources depend on the server and the current systems, so the wiki is the best place to stay up to date.
What daily tasks usually look like (examples)
Exact tasks can change, but the idea is consistent: tasks should be achievable through normal play. Common patterns:
- play a few rounds on a specific mode
- contribute as a team role (heal/support/priority targets)
- complete a wave/objective milestone
This is why BP tends to “just happen” for active players.
Tips (that actually help)
- Do tasks while playing your main role (Medic/Support/Sharpshooter, etc.) — BP stacks up naturally.
- If you’re new, start on easier servers and build consistency first.
- Don’t ignore objectives that help the team: this project’s progression is built around cooperative play.
Spending BP (how to think about it)
Spending options depend on server/mode and balance updates. A safe approach:
- wait until you understand what your main mode needs
- prefer purchases that improve quality of life over one-time “fun” splurges
- avoid spending everything early when you do not yet know the network
FAQ
Do I need BP to play?
No. BP is an extra layer on top of normal gameplay.
I have BP, what should I spend it on?
Spending options can change by server/mode and balance updates. The safest advice: do not rush. Play a few sessions, see what you actually need, then decide.

Do I lose BP if I change servers?
No. BP is part of the shared network progression (same profile across servers).
