    Cleaning Logs

Killing Floor logs can take up significant disk space, especially if the game has been launched many times. Regular log cleaning helps free up space and improve performance.

    Log Location

Killing Floor logs are usually located in the following places:

    • Windows: Documents\My Games\KillingFloor\System\ or %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor\System\
    • In the System folder there are files with .log extension

    How to Delete Logs

    1. Close Killing Floor game if it is running.
    2. Navigate to the logs folder (see location above).
    3. Find files with .log extension (e.g., KillingFloor.log, Launch.log).
    4. Delete old logs or all logs if you want to start fresh.
    5. If necessary, you can create empty files with the same names so the game can create new logs.

    Important Notes

    • Deleting logs will not affect game saves or settings.
    • The game will automatically create new logs on the next launch.
    • It is recommended to periodically clean logs, especially if the game is launched frequently.
